A Quieter Life is a reflection on the complexity of relationships in the modern age, where loneliness prevails though we are connected to the world at any give time. The album explores the difficulty of feeling in a world that is sterile and bleak. HALLOWS is a duo consisting of Vanee Dusoruth and Dom Rolando who started in Minneapolis in 2019 and migrated to Seattle, before ending in Los Angeles.
HALLOWS is a duo consisting of Vanee Dusoruth and Dom Rolando who started in Minneapolis in 2019 and migrated to Seattle, before ending in Los Angeles. The band explores themes of unease, longing, and sadness in their music drawing from traditional darkwave but with a modern electronic approach.
