“This 10 track, 10 band compilation features a poignant and whimsical glimpse of synth projects and sounds from former Yugoslavia. All sounds featured on the album were recorded during the 1980s.
The composition of each track listing is intently laid out poetically to help facilitate the powerful impact of this time capsule. Yu-Wave highlights some of the groundwork artists that many current bands try to emulate, but only few get close to. This LP is an introspective, stories from the mind of the artist, some of whom have continued to create and shape the landscape for electronic, minimal, and dark arts alike.
It took Castra Records years of digging and tracking down the bands. A love letter from the past to the present. It comes with an insert featuring info and photos of the bands.”
